Note: "The Manis Mastodon site is a 2-acre ... archaeological site on the Olympic Peninsula near Sequim, Washington, United States. During the dig, the remains of an American mastodon was recovered which had a projectile made of the bone from a different mastodon embedded in its rib." Source: Wikipedia.
According to the Sequim Gazette (2014), "the distribution of the bones and the discovery that some of the bones were broken suggested that the mastodon had been killed and butchered by human hunters." This find provided yet more evidence that the Clovis People weren't the first to settle North America.
